I'm sort of in a hate love relation to the adobe reader, it's bloated but sometimes it's the only working thing. Apparently Adobe wants to look cool and tell that they support Unix on the X series. But, the download page only gives me windows, mac os, and android downloads, no unix, not even the old version 9.5.5 which can fortunately still be downloaded from the ftp site (after a bit of searching).
So:
- don't say support while it is obviously not there (X series)

Then for the question:
- Is adobe ever going to make a reader XI for unix?
the latter would be nice, because I get more and more anotated stuff to correct (and I'm sorry windows or mac os are too difficult for me) on which the adobe reader still stands out in displaying.
