Printing PDFs in Safari w/Adobe PDF Viewer Causes Black Page

When I navigate to a website and view a PDF in the Adobe Acrobat browser plug-in, if I try and print that PDF, it just prints one black page. Also, when I trigger the print, you can see the screen split in the browser and half of it is black, the other half contains the PDF content. I'm using Mac OS X 10.10.2 (Yosemite), Safari 8.0.3, and Adobe Acrobat XI Pro (11.0.10).

I've tried the suggestions of uninstalling Acrobat, deleting the Acrobat plug-in from the "Internet Plug-Ins" folder, then reinstalling Acrobat, but the problem still persists. If I disable the Acrobat plug-in in the Safari browser, I can print PDFs just fine (as it is using Preview at that point).

Our company has a website with PDFs to view/print, and we are getting increasing support requests from users who are experiencing this same problem.

Any ideas on what to do or how to fix this problem?
