I actually figured out the solution myself. The site is on Godaddy, but was being hosted in a subdirectory of a different domain, Flashforcast.com. This is why you got the 404 message! DavidVoxMullen.com was just using a url redirect to point to the correct file- http://www.flashforcast.com/DavidVoxMullen/index.html. If I entered the long url, the page appeared perfectly. However, the redirect was messing up how it displayed on screen. I had to set DavidVoxMullen.com as being a "hosted domain" within the "parent" domain. As soon as I did this, boom! It worked perfectly. I assume that just having the url redirect was stopping the javascript from running properly.
