I am sad to say I agree with you. I recall not so long ago when DW was king of the hill. Everyone I knew used it. I and my fellow instructors taught all our programming classes with Dreamweaver.

 

Oh, how the mighty have fallen! Remember Quark? Never sit still on your laurels, and keep pushing your software. Fireworks is dead as well. Flash is on its way to be ever more marginalized. Strange how things have turned out over the span of less than a decade for the former Macromedia group of products under the Adobe hegemony.

 

Having said that, things grow, change, and wither away. It is the natural course of things.
