Hopefully there won't be too many people that say but I work in Lightroom why not show it in that to which I have to then admit that I work purely in Bridge, ACR and Photoshop and that this was to be a talk involving ACR & Photoshop
A good few of the forum regulars here don't use Lightroom. I tried it at the beginning, and didn't like it. I _bought_ a later version thinking that after committing dollars I'd make the effort to get into it. It still didn't happen. I don't like the UI, and I am convinced I can work as fast with Bridge, ACR and Photoshop. I installed it because it comes with CC, but I just don't see the point.
I like Lightroom but since I use ACR and Bridge with Photoshop as well it feels redundant (because it pretty much is due to Lightroom being a version of Camera Raw with a shiny UI shell; only major difference is Lightroom's cataloging feature). Using both can really put a damper on organization unless Adobe can find a way for them to co-exist without being too clunky. Lightroom is great for photographers who have no interest in getting funky with their photographs beyond tinkering with the basics though. Heard the forthcoming version 6 is much faster too.
