LR/ACR's default chrominance noise reduction value of 25 causes color smearing and the loss of color detail and saturation. I've noticed this on several types of raws, including Sony A7s, Nikon D810, and Nikon D750. If I lower the chrominance NR slider from 25 to 5 these side effects go away without any visible increase in color noise.
