Have you tried other images from another location? Are these images on a local drive or an external drive?Can you create a new file in PS, and save and open it again?Have you tried resetting preferences?

Post the code you are using so we can determine what the problem is. Obviosuly there is not enough room for the fith link but just looking at an image doesnt provide the answer why.
