I just got off the phone with a GoDaddy hosting engineer - and he had me run the 'network utility' program to find out what might be the problem. Looking at the timeouts that it produced, he concluded that it is an ISP problem - not a GoDaddy problem.
But that seems illogical, unless the Apple store and the University of Washington are all on Comcast... since I had trouble making my website work on those locations.
So I looked at the Comcast help file and see they don't even seem to have anything really. So I guess I'll just wait and see if it gets better.
